How Chiropractic Works
Chiropractic is based on the principle that the body has the ability to heal itself. When any bone in your body is out of place, the body is compromised and no longer able to function at its highest capacity. Your brain controls your body's functions through nerves, which travel down through the spinal column and out through openings to each part of your body. Physical, emotional or chemical stress can cause your spine to become misaligned, blocking normal brain/body communication, potentially leading to pain and malfunction. By gently adjusting your spine into alignment, pain is relieved and the body's function can be restored. Chiropractic adjustments can treat many different conditions without the use of medication or surgery. Additionally, people use chiropractic to maintain their current well being and prevent future problems.
